LOCAL NEWS NETWORK (LNN) PARTICIPATING IN THE SOUTHERN COLORADO ACCELERATOR PROGRAM (SCAPE)

June 2, 2020 - Durango, CO - Local NEWS Network (LNN) is 1 of 5 SW Colorado Companies chosen to go through the SCAPE 2020 Accelerator Program.

LNN launched in April 2019 with the goal to expand its profitable local news business model to 50 towns over the next 3 years. Local affiliates are able to bring back local news to their towns and provide an effective marketing platform for local businesses to reach locals, using the proprietary LNN news production process, local distribution platform and back office support.

“Local news is the fabric of our communities” says Laurie Sigillito, CEO of Local NEWS Network, “as important, is providing local businesses with a cost effective way to reach their customers base.”  “The Local NEWS Network model provides this solution, and keeps advertising dollars recycling in the local communities too!”

SCAPE saw the potential in LNN’s business model to scale beyond SW Colorado, creating jobs across the country and bringing dollars back to Durango. LNN has a management team of experienced entrepreneurs to execute on the business plan. SCAPE has launched 31companies which have raised $20,750,000 in capital which contributed to the creation of 122 local jobs.
